The PEACE Method was carefully crafted based on my nutrition expertise and years of supporting dozens of busy moms in their weight loss journeys.

After years of providing 1:1 coaching, moms kept asking me for additional support in a group with other moms. They valued the support of not only my expertise, but also knowing they're not alone, and are going through the same challenges as others.

 

We launched group programming with huge success - my busy moms lost weight, learned tangible strategies, and found new friends.

 

With intimate small group coaching, you still get personalized coaching with me in a group Zoom, AND the added benefits of learning from others mom who are in the thick of it, too. What's more, I'm also a busy mom (by the way, my story is below!). I get exactly where you are.

About Melissa

Hi, I'm Melissa, a registered dietitian and busy mom of two!

I help busy moms go from constant dieting and feeling frustrated with their bodies to feeling confident and losing weight for good.

I have a personal history with fad diets, restriction and binging. I healed my relationship with food by learning about nutrition - and it prompted me to want to become a registered dietitian to help other women help heal their own relationships with food.

And then I had kids... And realized the uniqueness of motherhood when it comes to weight management, body image, confidence and energy. 

Weight loss does not occur in isolation - we need to understand the basics of nutrition, but it's so much more. You are a whole person (with a job, friends, hobbies, travels, and families) - and we need to treat nutrition as one facet within your whole life. 

I created the PEACE Method to guide you through building a healthy relationship with food, teach you how to manage your cravings and boost your energy, and lose weight for good - so you never have to diet again.

Because mama, your brain deserves to be focused on all the other beautiful things in your life... and not the calories or points or macros of each bite of food.

8-week intimate group coaching nutrition program

  • October 2024-December 2024

  • Pre-recorded video education modules dedicated to helping busy moms lose weight for good, including nutrition 101, cravings,  emotional eating, handling the holidays, mindset, exercise, sleep, stress management, and more!

  • Eight LIVE 60-minute weekly Zoom group nutrition coaching sessions led by Melissa, with recordings sent 24-48 hours afterwards

  • 1 60-minute 1:1 Zoom coaching session with Melissa to kick-off the program and set your individual nutrition and weight loss goals

  • Group community page to give you the accountability you need to hit your goals and lose the weight for good in a supportive environment

  • *BONUS: Book before 10/4/24 and receive a BONUS 1:1 30-minute Zoom coaching session during the program to help you stay accountable to your individual weight loss goals!

 

FAQ's

 

Q: I have a LOT going on right now - between kids, work, and other commitments, I'm not sure this is the best time to focus on weight loss - will you offer this program again?

  • I hope so! My plan is to run this group 2x/year. But let's be real, mama - there will NEVER be a perfect time for this. Life is busy, always. This is the time - leading into holiday season, when things are busy, to focus on YOU. If you have been thinking about weight loss that lasts - and you are DONE with dieting, I encourage you to schedule a strategy call to see if we can fit this program into your busy life (because trust me, I know how busy this season can be!). And mama, this may be your sign that you can take 60-minutes of uninterrupted time for you - you deserve it, you need it, you are worthy of it. You are constantly taking care of everyone else - this is the moment to care for yourself.

Q: How is this different than other diet programs?

  • I don't believe in prescriptive meal plans or calorie counting. The PEACE Method allows you to learn how to eat and live a lifestyle that you can maintain long-term. So yes, we will talk about food, macronutrients, calories - but not with the focus on restriction. Instead, my goal is for you to never count calories again!

Q: What if I can't attend all the sessions?

  • I get it! Life gets BUSY and sometimes things come up. You'll get the most out of the program by attending live, but you'll receive the recordings if you can't attend any given week.

Q: What if group coaching is not for me?

  • First, let me assure you this is not your typical group program. Each weekly session I will guide you through a step of the PEACE Method, with lots of room for Q&A and hot-seat style coaching at the end. If you can't attend live, I'll send you the recording, and you can pre-submit any questions you have. There is also a community page where you can post wins and ask questions - which is a wonderful way to get support not only from me, but from your peers!
