Meet Melissa Schuster

MS, RDN, CDN, IFNCP


Hi, I’m Melissa! I am a registered dietitian specializing in integrative nutrition. I take a whole health individualized approach–which means I focus not only on nutrition, but on systemic and root causes for your health concerns, including your medical history, lifestyle, stress and more. My goal is to help you achieve your unique health goals so you can go about your life with more ease, energy, and confidence. 

I have extensive experience providing nutrition counseling for a variety of health issues, including weight management, gastrointestinal and gut health, cardiovascular disease, inflammatory diseases, hyperlipidemia, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, and insulin resistance. I have my Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from New York University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and an advanced certification in Integrative and Functional Nutrition (IFNCP).

Having worked through my own nutrition and health challenges, I know that committing to a nutrition and lifestyle change like this can feel overwhelming. That's why I created the six-week Nutrition Bootcamp program–to give you all the tools you need to efficiently kickstart your  health journey with confidence, support, and accountability.

If you're seeking long-term, lasting weight loss, the bootcamp program may not be the right fit... but the PEACE Method can help you get there!   • Anyone who is looking for a nutrition reset! The bootcamp serves anyone 18 years and older, including all genders and stages of life. While I started working with a lot of moms after I became a mom, the strategies and support I have to offer are great for anyone looking to focus on their nutrition goals in an empathetic, sustainable way.

  • Good question! It depends on your unique lifestyle, body, and health challenges you are trying to overcome. My hope is that you will start feeling better right away, but progress often takes time, especially when it comes to weight loss or achieving health and wellness goals. So while you may or may not experience immediate benefits from our six-week program, my priority is to use nutrition and lifestyle changes to set you up for long-term success. And, we can always talk about continuation program options as the program nears conclusion–I won’t leave you hanging without extra support! Many of my clients start with the six-week bootcamp and then add on additional sessions for longer term support.

  • I specialize in integrative nutrition, which means I take the full picture of your life into account (food, exercise, sleep, stress, relationships, etc.), not just a snapshot of calories. I believe this approach allows me to act as your true partner in health, and not just a one-off supporter. My approach is evidence-based, but just as importantly, based on YOU and your lifestyle, and we truly work together to fully understand your unique health challenges to create a comprehensive plan to overcome them. The program includes lots of extra hand-holding and accountability along the way, including private messenger, photo food journaling, and personalized recipe collections, in addition to our weekly calls, so that you get the most out of this concierge program in these six weeks.
